Nobody can solve the world’s most challenging issues alone. That’s why we push boundaries and break barriers. Fueled by the power of media, we come together to make an impact on the world.

The Summit experience enables you to think globally while stressing the urgency of acting locally. When delegates return to their home countries, they screen the short films in their classrooms, clubs, or community centers and lead workshops to raise awareness. Over 10,000 people view these movies every year. Between the summits, IYMS global members work together online and in-person to continue the mission of IYMS.

– Apply to participate at the main event

We open applications every year around mid-November, select the delegates by mid-February and host the event at the end of July. Follow us on social media so you don’t miss the important deadlines.

– Raise awareness in your society

We would be honored if you used our digital materials available on social media and on our PSA Player when you give talks, research the problems around you and craft persuasive arguments for global change.

– Use the multimedia materials in formal and non-formal education

If you work with youth, you have no trouble recognizing the importance of spreading the awareness of the 7 Issues. Our materials are there for you to start discussions, generate ideas and encourage action.
